Government Documents

Designated a Federal Depository Library in 1907, the Government Documents Department provides free public access to government information and resources​.

Circulation

Checking Out Books (Paper)

  • The borrower must present a valid TU ID card and be registered in the Library System
    • Only the person with a registered TU ID card is allowed to borrow materials on his or her card
  • ​​​Students may check out a total of 10 books for 30 days
  • Fines for books are 25 cents per day, per book 
  • Notices are sent to borrowers as a courtesy
    • Failure to receive a fine or overdue notice does not relieve the borrower of responsibility.


Reserves

Instructors place materials such as books or photocopied articles on "Reserve" as required reading for their students

  • Must have a valid TU ID card
  • The items are available for 2 hours at a time
  • The items cannot leave the library

Students may also study, read newspapers/magazines, and utilize the computers (no printer)
